North Shore, Kauai~ There has been so much progress over the past year with re-building the roads and bridges to access Kauai’s beautiful north shore.
The highway is set to re-open on May 1st. At this time, as the area is still recovering, we will not be able to access wedding locations such as Tunnels beach or Ke’e beach. Although the highway will technically be re-opening there will be no parking available and high traffic fines for anyone trying to park illegally, to the tune of $200 a ticket. There is also going to be significant delays caused by the continued road work and bridge reconstruction.
We are highly advising our amazing couples to avoid this area during your time here on Kauai until the area is fully recovered and the area can accommodate visitors again. Kauai has so much to offer and there is really no need to drive to this area unless you are a local resident. With the inability to park and explore its really not worth it at this time.
