After the 2018 floods

We want to send a big shout out to each and every one of our awesome couples for checking on us during this time. We are luckily located in the Princeville area, above Hanalei and other major flooded areas. We have been receiving a bunch of questions as to what you should be expecting for your upcoming ceremony here. At this moment some of our beautiful beaches (Tunnels and Kee Beach) are not accessible due to landslides caused by the record-breaking rains Kauai has received over the past weekend. Crews are working hard every day to stabilize the cliff sides and make the roadways safe for travel again!

At this time we will be performing ceremonies at Puu Poa beach (below the St Regis), the Black Rocks at Anini Beach, and areas of Hanalei Bay that are accessible. As always you will have the opportunity to check out these locations in person before choosing the final spot for your ceremony. Conditions will be improving daily and we are looking forward to the summer sunshine!

If you are looking to listen in on the most recent updates with Kauai’s recovery I would suggest checking out KKCR radio. If you have an Alexia you can ask it to “Play KKCR radio” and you will have the most current updates that we are listening to here! Another resource would be to check out the many webcams across the island.
